Activities
Located just a 15-minute drive from Galway City, Corrib View Country B&B is the ideal tranquil base to explore the vibrant city of Galway. The city has a rich medieval history, a lively arts and music scene, and numerous festivals (including Cúirt International Festival of Literature, Galway Traditional Boat Festival, SeaFest, Galway International Arts Festival and food, music, film, and walking festivals).
Galway Bay. Ireland
Annaghdown’s waterways are historically extremely significant because at one time they controlled passage to Galway City (the current road was not built until early 20th Century). This route was strategically very important because Lough Corrib joined the River Corrib, thus providing access to Galway Bay, which developed into one of Ireland’s most important European trading gateways.
